Last week, I finally saw The Iron Lady, and my personal opinion is that this role is Meryl Streep's best role in over a decade! In fact, I think it's her best role since Marvin's Room in 1996. So, thinking about Meryl Streep's amazing roles, I decided to present this photographic journey through her filmography. Meryl Streep has been nominated for an Oscar Award an unbelievable 17 times and has won it only twice: in 1979 she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in Kramer vs Kramer, and in 1982 she won the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Sophie's Choice. Let's see if 2012 -30 whole years after her last win- is going to be her year once more. I sure hope it'll be so! Now, let's make a quick journey through time by looking at Meryl Streep in all her amazing -and some not so amazing- films.
