His cast includes Amy AckerAlexis DenisofReed DiamondClark GreggFran KranzSean MaherJillian Morgese and Nathan Fillion. The film is shot in black & white, and it uses the original Shakespearean words and not an adaptation of the play.

The story follows Leonato, the governor of Messina who's visited by a friend of his, Don Pedro returning from a victorious campaign against his brother Don John. Don Pedro is accompanied by his two officers, Claudio who falls for Hero and Benedick who quarrels with Beatrice. While Hero, Claudio and Leonato try to make Benedick and Beatrice fall in love, the villainous Don John plots against the marriage of Claudio and Hero. What comes next is a series of comic and tragic events and the question if love can prevail.
