Keira Knightley and Joe Wright are two people that have brought us two of the most beautiful films of the last decade. Pride & Prejudice (2005) was an amazing adaptation of the beloved Jane Austen novel, with great performances and thrilling music that successfully brought two globally favourite characters (Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy) to life. Let's not forget that this was the film that gave Keira Knightley her first Oscar® nomination. Their second beautiful collaboration was Atonement (2007) an adaptation of the great Ian McEwan novel. This second film had received thriving reviews and achieved an 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes for its breathtaking cinematography, unique music and strong performances.
The third collaboration of this visionary director with the talented Keira Knightley is the adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's classic, Anna Karenina. The story is well-known: the aristocrat Anna Karenina starts an affair with Count Vronsky. The film also stars Jude Law as Alexei Karenin, Aaron Johnson as Count Vrosnky, Kelly Macdonald, Matthew MacFadyen, Emily Watson and Olivia Williams.
