If you've read my list for the most anticipated films of the year you know that one of them, number 5 to be exact, is the film adaptation of the very successful Broadway musical Les Miz, which is an adaptation of the epic novel Les miserables by Victor Hugo (that is one of my favourite books of all time). The film is directed by The King's Speech's director Tom Hooper and it stars Hugh Jackman (Jean Valjean), Russell Crowe (Javert), Anne Hathaway (Fantine), Amanda Seyfried (Cosette), Helena Bonham Carter (Madame Thenardier), Sacha Baron Cohen (Thenardier), Eddie Redmayne (Marius) and Samantha Barks (Eponine). It's coming out this Christmas and here is the very touching trailer in which Anne Hathaway as Fantine sings the famous "I dreamed a dream":
