Memorable Movie Scenes No.5

This is a very different "Memorable Scenes" article, because this time it is dedicated to a man who just passed away. Michael Clarke Duncan, the gigantic man with the brightest of smiles died at the age of 54, not being able to fully recover from the heart attack he suffered in July of this year. He has participated in films such as Armageddon (1998), The Whole Nine Yards (2000), Planet of the Apes (2001), Daredevil (2003) and Sin City (2005). However, he will always be remembered for his most touching role in The Green Mile (1999), where he played John Coffey, a convicted man with a very special gift. For me, this is one of the most unforgettable characters ever presented on screen and it deservingly earned him an Oscar Nomination. Today, we will remember one of the most tear-jerking scenes of the film, where Coffey watches a movie for the first time in his life. Thus, he experiences the magic of cinema, that magnificent world where some things last forever. You will be missed.
