personal views on movies... and some other things

The "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" new trailer brings the magic back!

Have you missed the Harry Potter world? If you are one of those massive Potter fans (also known as potterheads) then 2016 has not been a shabby year for you. With the publication of the 8th Harry Potter story titled Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the play of the same name that is currently on stage in the UK and the newest film which comes to cinemas this November, 2016 has brought the magic back.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is based on a 2001 book written by Harry Potter writer J.K. Rowling. Rowling had used the pseudonym of fictitious author -and wizard- Newt Scamander and the book was an encyclopedia of all the magical creatures that can be found in the magical universe of Harry Potter and co.
This year, David Yates, director of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt.1&2 (2010-11) as well as 2016's The Legend of Tarzan, brings the first script by J.K. Rowling to life,
The story follows Newt Scamander (Oscar Winner Eddie Redmayne [The Theory of Everything (2014)], the fictitious writer of the homonymous book, in New York where he meets the American Magical community and by not being careful, lets some magical beasts loose in the city. From then on, a wild hunt begins not only to capture all the animals but also not to be seen by the No-Majs (the american word for muggles).
The newest trailer for the film has just been released and it looks quite engaging. Let's see what Rowling's magical pen has in store for us.

Also, in case you missed it, pottermore, the official site for all things magical, has recently created a test to see what your patronus is. If you are not familiar with the terminology, the patronus charm is an advanced spell, a projection of all your happy thoughts and feelings, which takes the form of an animal that best suits your character and is used as a magical guardian against Dementors and Lethifolds (against which there is no other protection).
FYI, my patronus is a Bay Stallion.
