The much-awaited 8th Harry Potter story is coming this summer!

It is true! The moment every Harry Potter fan has been hopelessly waiting for has finally arrived. Pottermore, the official site created by J.K. Rowling's team and concerning all things Harry Potter announced today that the script for Rowling's first play, which takes place in the wizarding universe of the beloved character and will be performed - in two parts- this coming summer in London's West End, will be published on July 31st 2016.
Little is known about Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and from what we have gathered we can tell you that the story picks up after the last moment we ever laid eyes upon the three cherished characters (Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger) who were saying goodbye to their children in Platform 9 and 3/4 as a new school year was about to begin. So, Cursed Child, the official eighth story in the Harry Potter canon, is situated 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Potterheads (as Harry Potter fans call themselves) from all around the world have been begging for a new installment in their favourite series and as it seems they will get their wish in written form as not only the tickets for the play have been sold out but for many fans seeing the staged interpretation of their loved characters seemed a far-away and unattainable dream.
